Since March 2020, we have been able to provide financial hardship support to over 19,000 music creators and increase access to our mental health services by 40%. In 2022, this ongoing need will continue at scale while the music sector recovers and rebuilds. Help Musicians is a charity that loves music and for over one hundred years has been working hard to make a meaningful difference to the lives of musicians across the UK. You will be responsible for leading our facilities team, which includes being responsible for all matters relating to statutory compliance including health & safety, building management and all new and ongoing building projects.

You will be warmly welcomed in our busy team and supported by our chief executive, though also need to work from your own initiative. We are seeking some casual bank activities workers to supplement our team of activities staff, group, tutors and volunteers. You will be keen to develop ongoing service improvements, approaching tasks and projects with a solution-focused and collaborative approach.

We have a dedicated student choir, performance band, woodwind group and guitar club with a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to grow our extra-curricular provision. The music department has a dedicated practical classroom with a suite of rehearsal spaces along with an ICT Sibelius classroom. We have a dedicated team of peripatetic staff who work closely with our music department to support events and GCSE practical work.
